Areguling is closely associated with surfing, and the south coast has breaks for different conditions and levels. Local guidance is always the right choice if you are unfamiliar with the reef and currents.
Spend a day beach-hopping
South Lombok makes it easy to combine several beaches in one day. Areguling, Mawun, Selong Belanak and the beaches east of Kuta all have different character.

Kuta is close enough to make dinner out easy. Use the villa as a quiet base, head into town when you want more energy, and return when you are ready to slow down again.
